Meet Myriam

My name is Myriam and I am the proud owner of Aroma Energy.

My accent can’t hide my origins… yes, I am French. Bonjour!. I have been living in Ireland since 2009. As many expat, I came with a return ticket but never left.

I have experienced stress in all areas of my life and I well know how it can impact your health. From a stressful working environment to a stressful family life!

I have worked for eight years in a very busy multinational – a job I initially loved but ended up hating to the point of making me ill with stress. After my first child was born, I realised I needed to step back from this environment and follow my heart. I had been using essential oils for so many years but had never brought myself to attend a course. And this seemed to be the perfect time. Therefore, I decided to go back to the school bench to improve my knowledge in the holistic field and get proper certification in aromatherapy but also in foot reflexology.

I am now a fully ITEC qualified and certified reflexologist and aromatherapist.

*I am a registered member of the Irish Reflexologist Institute: check with your health insurance provider as a number of them cover Reflexology treatments

In 2017, I opened Aroma Energy. Why did I chose the name? Because as you know by now, I am passionate about essential oils. All my treatments involve aromatherapy oils whenever possible.

I very soon decided to specialise in women’s health and especially maternity and post-natal care.

In 2019, I gave birth to my second child in a planned homebirth—an experience that profoundly changed the direction of my career. It was so empowering and transformative that I felt a strong calling to help other women better understand their bodies, how birth truly works, and how to navigate labour with confidence so they too can have a positive birth experience.

Inspired by my own journeys, I trained in the methods that supported me, becoming a GentleBirth (hypnobirthing) instructor. I also learned to use the Winner Flow device and apply acupressure techniques for labour support. Over the years, I further expanded my expertise by training as a Birth Doula with DoulaCare Ireland, and I have since specialized in supporting parents expecting breech babies.

What I most love about my job is to see the instant difference on the patient’s face and body language after the treatment. They feel lighter – both emotionally and physically, more balanced, relaxed and positive. My aim is to help you reconnect with your body and your soul.

But when it comes to support women during pregnancy and labor, it goes much deeper. Labor is such a magical and sacred experience. I want every single women to feel their power to birth like lioness. Birth is so far from what you’ve seen on television, from what society has tried hard- and managed, to make you believe. My aim is to remove fears and give you the tools to enjoy - yes I said that word- birth. ♥
